The Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Pema Khandu, visited the construction site of the educational complex of the Thubten Shedrubling Foundation where he was warmly received by Tulku Tenzin Gyurmey Rinpoche, Dolhe Rinpoche, members and the site engineers. Art and Culture Minister Dr. Mohesh Chai, Tawang MLA Tsering Tashi, Brigadier MP Singh and Tawang DC Sang Phuntsok accompanied the Chief Minister during this visit.
The Chief Minister observed the ongoing construction work of the 3-storied building and a newly constructed retaining wall that has been built to prevent landslide from the adjacent hillside. He was informed that once the construction is completed, the Foundation will offer classes on Buddhist meditation and philosophy, Tibetan language and English language, vocational and computer courses, life and job skills, and free medical care. The Chief Minister expressed his satisfaction with the progress of the project.
