While the construction of the educational complex is the process, Thubten Shedrubling started leasing a renovated building with an office, staff quarters and classrooms since October 2017. The building is located on the Medical Road, in the heart of the town. All classrooms and offices have modern equipment and atmosphere conducive to studies.
TSF has started its operations in autumn 2017. On 6th October, 2017, Chief Minister Pema Khandu officially inaugurated the computer courses in the presence of Tulku Tenzin Gyurmey Rinpoche, MLA Tsering Tashi, and MLA Jambey Tashi, and other members of TSF.
Jugantar Sharma, our computer skills teacher, started teaching computer literacy courses in October 2017. On 3rd March 2018, TSF held a ceremony for awarding certificates to the first batch of 34 students who completed Basic Computer Course. The function was attended by MLA Tsering Tashi as the Chief Guest, Apel Tayang, DDSE, Venerable Lama Ngawang Norbu, the former Lopon master of Tawang monastery and various representatives of government offices and civil organizations.
