As requested with folded hands and prayers, His Holiness the Dalai Lama stopped his motorcade on the way for delivering a public talk at the Kalawangpo Hall and blessed the construction site of the Thubten Shedrubling Foundation on April 10th 2017 around 2 pm. His Holiness was briefed by Tulku Tenzin Gyurmey about the purpose of the foundation, which is imparting Buddhist philosophical classes in a modern way and also providing Tibetan language classes, both written and spoken, to the people of Tawang. His Holiness appreciated this endeavor and emphasized the relevance and importance of such work at the present time.
